Migrating MDF Infra to a Secure Azure Cloud

MDF Infra, the fiber optic leader in the Netherlands, required a cloud platform that could ensure strong security and centralized management of access and identities.
As MDF Infra’s trusted IT partner, Sensey led the migration effort, leveraging Azure Entra ID to establish identity as the foundation of their cloud security. The mission was to migrate their critical workloads to the Microsoft Azure Cloud and implement robust identity management solutions to enhance security and operational efficiency.
MDF Infra faced several key challenges in its cloud migration journey. Ensuring centralized and secure identity management was critical to maintain robust access control and enforce consistent policies across Azure resources. Establishing private and secure communication channels was equally important to protect sensitive data from potential threats. Additionally, the infrastructure needed to be flexible and resilient, capable of dynamically adapting to varying workloads while maintaining high performance and reliability. These challenges underscored the need for a comprehensive and secure cloud strategy.

As official IT partner of Fepatex, Europe’s market leader in manufacturering of eyelets and eyelet machinery, our mission was to move their on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. The goal was to shift all their critical workloads to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), focusing on security, automation, and scalability. With careful planning, we moved Fepatex to a reliable, cloud-native setup on Azure, giving them the flexibility and efficiency they needed.

Private Link for Secure Data Connections

To maintain secure and private communication, we utilized Azure Private Link, which enables data traffic to remain within Fepatex's Azure resources without exposing it to the public internet.

Automation with Azure Container Registry (ACR)

Integrating Azure Container Registry with AKS allowed us to automate the building and management of container images, streamlining the CI/CD pipeline and reducing manual intervention in deployments.

Security Policies and Access Control

By applying detailed security policies, including network policies and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), we restricted access to authorized users and applications. Compliance checks through Azure Policy further reinforced security by ensuring that all resources adhered to industry standards.

Scalable, Resilient Infrastructure

With AKS’s automated resource scaling, Fepatex can now handle peak traffic efficiently while scaling back during off-peak times, optimizing both cost and performance.
The migration to Azure transformed Fepatex’s infrastructure into a secure, automated, and scalable cloud environment. With private connections and access controls, data handling is secure, while an automated CI/CD pipeline enables faster updates for consistent service. The scalable AKS infrastructure adjusts to demand, minimizing hardware management and allowing Fepatex to focus on core operations. Partnering with Sensey, Fepatex now operates on a reliable, cloud-first platform aligned with their growth and future goals.

Note Taking

Taking notes in the Sensey Notes app is quite simple and user-friendly. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can take notes:

Create a New Note

Click the "Create Note" button to start a new note-taking session.

Select a Theme

Select a suitable theme for your note-taking page.

Write & Customize Your Note

Once you've selected your theme, start writing your note. Utilize the rich toolbar to format your text, add images, and customize colors to enhance your notes.

Save or Share Your Note

After completing your note, save it within the application or share it with others using the save or share options.

Edit & Organize Your Notes

After saving your note, you can edit it at any time. Additionally, you can pin the note to prioritize it, bringing it to the top of your page for easy access. This allows you to organize your notes by importance.

Multi-Note Functionality

Sensey Notes provides a user-friendly interface that allows you to open multiple notes at the same time. Clicking on a note expands it for a more detailed view. You can also use the handle next to any note to place notes side by side, enabling you to view more information simultaneously. If you need more space, you can enlarge the page to display notes in full screen, focusing on a specific note. With these features, Sensey Notes offers maximum flexibility and functionality, giving you complete control over your note-taking experience.

Keeping your collection vibrant and current is simple with the Sensey Library app and an intuitive browser extension. Here's how to effortlessly integrate new discoveries:

Click the Sensey Library icon in your browser toolbar when you find an interesting page. Select the relevant category to save it instantly.

Prefer using your mobile device or the app interface? Open the Sensey Library, tap the "+" button on the Links Page, paste the link, and assign it to one of your categories.

View URL

To maintain a clean and organized interface, each URL is represented by a title. Clicking the link icon next to the title reveals the full URL. This design ensures a clutter-free experience.

Search Links

Using the search engine on the Links Page, type the name of the link or any clue you remember to quickly find specific links and their respective categories.

Edit a Box

When editing a box, you can perform various actions, such as deleting the box, adding or removing a link, copying links, or changing the box's name. Click the three-dot icon located at the top right of the box to access these options.These features are designed to help you make minor adjustments and efficiently manage individual boxes.

Additionally, when you click on a box, a page opens from the right side of the screen, allowing you to manage its contents more easily. You can also view and manage any notes you've taken for links while browsing, as well as see when the box was created, how many links it contains, and any keywords recommended for these links. These features can assist you in future searches or when searching within the box.
